We wanted to bring you Scrabble Scramble this fall. Oh, how we ached to do that. But events take months of planning, and at decision time Covid-19 was raging through our community. So, as a pandemic-proof substitute, we offered Scrambling For Literacy: three weeks of fiendishly challenging word games sent via email. Would it work? We really didn’t know. With trepidation, we set our sights on raising $14,000, about a third less than our last Scrabble Scramble yielded.

But, thanks to planners, players, and sponsors, Scrambling for Literacy blew past our paltry hopes. We ended up with more than 50 sponsors and donors, and together with player entry fees, we cleared $21,600! Our generous supports are listed below.
