Meet, greet, and teach the world as an intern with Lincoln Literacy, an award-winning community nonprofit. The selected intern will spend 6 - 10 hours per week during the Spring 2022 semester teaching English as an instructor in online or in-person, small group classes of refugees and immigrants.


Schedule can usually be individualized to accommodate responsibilities such as school and employment. This internship provides a valuable experience and pays $13.50 hourly.

Development Director 

Lincoln Literacy, an award-winning community nonprofit, seeks a development director. This is a half-time, high-level

staff position responsible for all dimensions and phases of resource development except grants. Top-notch people skills, campaign strategizing, event planning, and donor cultivation needed. Excellence in team leadership, communications,

Child Minders 

Care for children from all over the world and help them learn to read while their parents attend English classes! These positions are part-time, late afternoons and evenings, after 3:30pm. Possible occasional morning or weekend hours.


Child minders interact with the children, and reading is strongly encouraged. Covid vaccination and masks required.
